Weekly Mani: IBD Whipped Cream with Dashica Stamp

Hello dear readers,

This week’s mani is a simple one, I just wanted to take a break from the elaborate ones I’ve been doing lately.  Base color is IBD Whipped Cream , nice formula, slightly streaky on the first coat but evens out with a second coat and there was no shrink back. I stamped with my absolute favorite Dashica image from plate Big SdP P. I used Sally Hansen Gone Grey as the stamping polish.

Accent nail is a simple design using a silver circle into which I placed a Swarovski crystal and added some silver studs.

WOW! Kim this design is nothing short of fabulous! You have certainly created a stunner again. I love your foiling mani’s, but this one takes my breath way. I even find it difficult to share your creations, as I want to keep you all to myself! Never the less I do, begrudgingly! Lol. How on earth do you get your stamping so perfect. I find it so hit and miss and it takes so long to achieve that perfect look for my clients. Would love a tutorial on this one :-)

PS: Loving your new blog layout, so much easier and very user friendly.

Thank you very much Joanne…This Dashica image is probably my most favorite, I’ve used it in several other manis, but I fight to get it even on all nails too mainly because I don’t use the entire image. I am far from perfect when stamping, lol…thank goodness for gel polish and non-acetone, I tend to have to redo a couple of times to get it where I want it. I’ll try to get a video up in the next few days to show how I do it :).
