Weekly mani: LeChat Butterflies with Hand Drawn Foiled Design

Hi dear readers,

I almost did another white mani this week but the beautiful purple of Butterflies was calling to me. As usual, this LeChat color applied like butter and is opaque in 2 coats with no shrinking. The only criticism I have is Butterflies is a fader but it fades to a pretty color so I won’t complain too much :D.

I wanted to do some foiled art so I used Shellac Black Pool to draw out the design, cured and then applied the gold foil in the sticky layer and applied 2 coats of top coat to protect the foil from wearing away.

For the accent nail I used L’oreal’s The Statement Piece, a gorgeous gold sand texture polish, 2 coats was all it took for great coverage and it dries quickly.

Products Used:

Base color: LeChat Butterflies
Nail art outline color: Shellac Black Pool
Accent nail: L’Oreal The Statement Piece
Foil: Gold Transfer foil from Dollar Nail Art
