Simple white mani with gold relief accent nail

Hello dear readers,

I know I haven’t posted in a while but I had to cut my nails down once again after 4 breaks in one week and two were down to the quick. I wanted a tad more length before I did a new mani. And then I got my new E.Mi gel paints and I just had to try them.

E.Mi is a brand of gel paint products created by Ekaterina Miroshnichenko. They are pricey and I had to wait FOREVER for them but they were worth they wait. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some after seeing the beautiful gilt and gold frames created by Ekaterina.

I ordered the Gold Baroque and Openwork Silver and it took over 2 months to get the Silver and I’m still waiting on the gold. As a gift for my eternal patience, the seller sent me a tube of Maya Gold gel paint and that’s what I used to do the scroll design on my accent nail. Maya Gold is bright yellow gold, I think next time I’ll tone it down with a little black or brown

Base color is my go-to white IBD Whipped Cream. I used a fine detail brush to draw out a frame around the nail and the scroll design inside the frame. I cured and then applied 2 more layers to create a 3D relief effect. This is a thick gel paint with micro gold pigment. It was very easy to apply and the lines held their shape and did not spread. It is LED curable.

For the rest of the nails I used a delicate open mosaic stamp from Dashica Big SdP C plate. I used Revlon Hypnotize to stamp.Dashica-Big-SdP-C 300

I obviously am nowhere near as talented as Ekaterina but I had fun and I will keep practicing, maybe one day I can create something as gorgeous as her works of art.

Do you mind if I ask where you bought these from?

I got them from this seller: http://www.thenailnana.us.com/store/c7/PAINTS.html. Keep in mind she apparently does not stock the items. When you place an order on the site she then orders them from Russia. She states 4-6 weeks for delivery but mine took over 2 months. She’s also not the best at keeping you advised of delays or tracking. Any info I wanted I had to ask her for it.
